Kate Meyer

Katherine (Kate) graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2025 with a BA in Neuroscience. At UVA, she was a member of the Neuroscience Distinguished Majors Program and the College Science Scholars program, conducted three years of independent neuroscience research on Drosophila, and received a Harrison Undergraduate Research Award. Outside of class and the lab, Kate has extensive experience as a volunteer and private tutor.  She has worked for five years as a private academic, standardized test, and executive functioning tutor and has volunteered with organizations to provide academic support to students in her hometown and in Boston. In her free time, she loves to needlepoint and cook.
