Oscar Jimenez

Oscar is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with his B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology. During his time at UML, he worked as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Brandon DeKosky’s lab at the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT and Harvard. His research focused on cloning malaria antibodies from patient donors immunized with the malaria vaccine PfSPZ into yeast surface display libraries and screening the yeast cells for binding to malaria antigens using FACS. Outside of the lab, Oscar enjoys trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
