Illari Cazorla-Garcia
Illari (pronounced ee-ja-ree) comes to MGH from Boston University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she served as a Research Assistant at the Child and Family Health Lab and the Laboratory of Comparative Cognition. At the Child and Family Health Lab, she supported research in areas including transitions to adulthood for children and adolescents with intellectual or developmental disabilities, psychosocial support for siblings of children with cancer, and Social Determinants of Health screenings for minoritized populations. At the Laboratory of Comparative Cognition, she assisted with research focused on developing new optical imaging technologies. She is fluent in Spanish and English and is currently learning ASL.
